Hi,

I'm Serge, a plant biologist and environmental scientist. I hold a BSc in Plant Biology and an MSc in Environmental Biology and Biogeochemistry. My research has focused on how climate warming and ozone stress affect silver birch growth and soil carbon cycling under open-field conditions.

I've worked with gas analyzers, soil respiration chambers, and open-air exposure systems measuring real ecosystem processes. I've completed specialized postgraduate training in ecotoxicology, air pollution and environmental exposure, indoor microbiology, and atmosphere-biosphere gas exchange. My training also covers plant biochemistry, botany, and the compounds plants produce, which is the understanding I bring to herbs and how they are used.
