About

Science-Backed Living for a Changing World

Hello and welcome!

I’m Serge, and I hold postgraduate degrees in Botany and Biochemistry, along with an MSc in Environmental Biology and Biogeochemistry (UEF)

My passion is showing how plants, natural remedies, and sustainable habits aren’t just trends, they are practical ways to benefit both your personal well-being and the planet. I started this site to turn high-level research into something you can actually use at home.

Working at an open-air research site. This background in Environmental Change is what helps me dig into the actual data behind the topics I write about.

Why GreenBioLife?

My training covers a wide variety of subjects, from the molecular chemistry of plants to environmental risk models. I use this experience to verify the information I share here, making sure it’s based on evidence rather than just guesses.

Here’s what you’ll find on the blog:

  • Herbal Remedies & Herbal Supplements – Evidence-based insights into plant wellness, analyzed through a molecular and biochemical lens.

  • Eco-Living & Energy  – Practical ways to shrink your carbon footprint and make sense of renewable energy systems.

  • Eco Home & Lifestyle – Guidance on creating a safer living space by understanding the biological and chemical risks inside our homes.

  • Zero Waste & Recycling– Smart ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle in everyday life.

  • Eco Beauty & Personal Care – Clean solutions for your routine that are safe for both your skin and the environment.

  • And Much More… – From DIY gardening experiments to the technical tools that make sustainable living easier.

Specialized  Credentials

To keep the quality of information high, I draw on my degrees and a series of extra, specialized postgraduate courses I’ve completed in:

Environmental Risk Assessment (focusing on particulate air pollution).

Indoor Microbiology (exposure assessment and health impacts).

Atmosphere-Biosphere Interactions (specifically Eddy Covariance).

Water Risk Management and Bio-Economy sustainability.

Quality Control of Chemical & Environmental Measurements.

Environmental & Occupational Noise (evaluation and control).

If you’re ready to explore a healthier lifestyle while caring for the planet, you’re in the right place!
